Greetings, salutations and felicitations to M'Lady Juliana and to all. May the new year bring you happiness and prosperity.
I have been extremely busy over the festive season and have had little chance to rest. The holidays, while proving busy, have been thoroughly enjoyable because I spent a geat deal of time with my favourite toy, Plaything. Of course I have also spent a good deal of time socializing in general. Indeed, I've had little time to spare for anything else.
Plaything and I saw the "Return of the King" at the local cinema. We thoroughly enjoyed the film from beginning to end. The epic battle scenes, the charge of the Rohirrim in particular, stirred my blood and gave rise to intense passions. Of course, Plaything was extra pleased as it resulted in an after the film ravishing.
Despite my lack of rest, I've been in action against a well laden treasure ship and expect to board and seize another soon. It will help to pay for the excesses of the festive season. Alas, it will require an entire treasure fleet to make it good.
I hope that I will find some time to catch up on my reading and at least do some sketching. If I can manage it, I may even attempt a little painting. But first I must get those creative ideas happening. Perhaps I will also have time to try out my splendid new parrying dagger.
