Today my grandparents have been married for 70 years!

That amazes me.

I am disillusioned by life at the moment. This isn't a new thing for me but it's getting stronger and stronger.

Mainly I'm finding I really don't want negative people in my life.

I feel oppressed by their negativity.

I'm also feeling really overwhelmed by needy people lately.

I like doing things for people. It's part of who I am and it's my very nature to be very giving. I need so little in return. Actually I need nothing in return. I know that will never change about me.

But why do I seem to be surrounded by so many people that cann't seem to do anything for themselves or anyone else?

I've always pictured myself living alone, maybe with a pet or so. A big old warehouse like home with lots of windows. Plenty of space for all my creative stuff. Maybe a loft like area above with a really big bed. With plenty of room in the back for a garden. It's still the place I go to in my mind when life overwhelms me.

I've been hanging there a lot lately.
