Haven't updated in a while, for some reason I was uncomfortable with the big naked pics on the login page while at a public terminal. but then, it's Europe.

I'm still in Paris, and having the time of my life. I finally found a Net cafe with American-style keyboards, so I'm able to type this pretty fast. Anyway, wow. the last six days have been amazing. I've been to a bunch of museums, most of the big sights, and walking around the city a lot. There are so many beautiful people here, and the ones I'm able to talk to (only fellow English speaking travellers, sadly) have been really cool. I'm finding that I know enough French to get by, barely, and to buy things and feed myself, but not enough to talk to people in any kind of conversation, or chat up les jeunes filles. Oh well. I just need not to worry about embarrasing linguistic hangups.

Tomorrow I'm leaving Paris for a month exploring western Europe by rail. I start out in Brugge, Belgium, and then Amsterdam and then Germany, Italy, and Spain, before coming back to France and ending in Paris. I don't know when I'll update again, so wish me a fun, safe, and above all cheap trip!
