Gracias babe! It's funny that you write to me in french, my brain was having trouble as if saying "Hmmm something here looks different"
Thanks for your comment, love, it's nice to see someone actually read that junk.

Enjoy your time in Bristol, hon, and don't you worry, it just struck me as odd, but as you know, I've no problem with french.
I already got my bus ticket. Since I'm going alone, I see no point in taking the car, plus I think I'd just be exhausted by the end of it all. To be perfectly honest I'm not sure I'm all that happy about going alone but since I can't do anything about it, I'll just stop thinking about it.
See you reeal soon babe, have a nice trip.

Today has been productive, not in a university doing work and actually going to lectures way, like it *should* have been...but in a general relaxing and making sure i have everything sorted for this weekend way...
So, today has been:
So, today has been:

Avoiding University Lecturers in the tube station
Discovering that soya yoghurt really isnt all that nice

Cali has a long North-South reach, so there's not just one climate to talk about here. Even so, the offsea breeze keeps it pretty cozy almost year round. Speaking for LA, in the winter, it rarely reaches freezing. We've had a couple 80-90 degree days (Fahreneheit, 30-35 degrees Celsius if my math is on) this spring already. I'd stick with the usual travel advice of packing layers and options, but lean towards warmweather clothes.
How long are you visiting for?

Likely it will be warm here, but the sea is usually cold.
As for me, I'm a recent transplant to LA, by way of St Louis (and a few other places on the way). Shalome lured me out here to play with computer networks and such, which is a happy way to pay the bills in my book. My spare time is spent on artificial rocks and aesthetically pleasing pyromania. For all the details not mentioned here, I leave an easily stalked trail on this site.

I feel like i should have something exciting and important to say but there isnt all that much...i have my essay all done and dusted finally, it's on brazilian cinema and is about the violence in Black God, White Devil (Glauber Rocha 1964) and City of God (Fernando Meirelles 2002)...i found Black God, White Devil sort of boring, its part of the Cinema Novo movement...

Hola!
I'm doing fine with the rest of the work, thanks. I had a sixteen hour rest that was much needed - meaning that I have to work tonight, even though the snow is gone, and I can actually go somewhere...
Somehow I can be very productive during weekends. Maybe it's because I don't necessarily have to work - It would be accepted if I decided to spend a couple of nights out, but if I choose to work instead, the time is my own in another way than it is during the week.
I really envy you, that you are going to the States. Have you been there before? I haven't yet, but intend to go, maybe in 2009 - the big Poe year.
Jeg hber at du har det godt = I hope that you are doing well

you play piano? how awesome! I took lessons way back in the day but couldn't stick to it. Plus I couldn't read music but I could play by ear so they didn't know for awhile and kept bumping me up to the next "level" then it all came out and I decided piano wasn't for me.
Things are good here! Toady was fucking BEAUTIFUL!!!! I woke up and there was blue skies, birds, and sunshine. I know that sounds so corny but it made for a good day. We had a staff party tonight so I got free food and beer which is always excellent. Oh I have to take math bc I go to a liberal arts college rather than an art college so i have to take a couple classes in everything. It is kind of awesome bc i got a taste of everything from economics to philosophy but sucks when you know what you want to do. I feel like im wasting time. I wish I was good at math but it English and History were always my strong subjects. Math and I never got along.
Good luck on finding a photographer, your're gorgeous so i'm sure you'll find someone soon. also good luck on the set! keep me posted with what happens. I def want to check it out.
Have fun while you are in the states. Yeah the MOMA is worth it if you have the time but regardless i'm sure you'll have fun.
WHo's getting married anyway?

if someone could repair/reprogram my brain trust me on some stressfull days i d give anything for that! the human mind/body is a amazining thing my frind who studies chei is 47 and as fit as a fiddle, when we go out he runs the 7 miles from his house to mine and turns up not even out of breath or even sweating ( maybe he gets the bus and is winding me up!) his never ill, never gets injured playing sports or training its mad and its all down to the eastern training he has had and carries on doing. free your mind and your body shall follow. i used to smoke loads of weed and thought that i was freeing my mind but all i was doing was numbing it i m sure. i m gonna have to learn some more about chei and the power of the mind and start my 'jedi' training soon!

I think I'll make some drawings tonight - I've ben working the most of the weekend, so I might as well continue for a while... I have some projects to finish, and why not do that, now that I'm trapped? How do you spend your sunday?
There are just about five million danes in the whole world - so there are many citites (including London, I believe) that have more residents than our entire population. That's a little strange to think about.
Regarding learning japanese from spanish: I t should be possible... why not? Sounds like a challenge. I learned french from a norwegian, and that worked... Well, I'm not good at french - I read and understand it, speak it a little, but I don't write it very well (actually I would like to learn spanish, too...).

So, in the past week i have realised that global warming is so much more prominent than we realise...it just doesnt snow in england, england isnt made for anything other than rain and the occasional spot of sunshine, but our weather has been getting really fucked up recently! i love the snow, but it does...

having just come back from canada i found it funny how the uk just completly shuts down and can't survive , wheras any other country just gets on with it

Global warming has totally fucked Seattle too! We had wind storms that knocked out power for days, our bus systems were stagnant, ice on the roads/sidewalks...it was impossible to get around for a couple of days! Not to mention, pretty much everything- schools, businesses, certain buses- all of it shuts down in the snow. It cleared up randomly, now we're back to heavy wind and rain. My dad's lived here for years, and his favorite thing was that there wasn't any goddamned wind!
I'm really sorry about the friend of a friend. I don't understand the violence either. It doesn't accomplish ANYTHING.
Hope things are going well.
