Tuesday, and it's so humid I feel like I'm in a Tennessee Williams play - 'My God, the heat, the damned heat!'. Or maybe, like Kathleen Turner in 'Body Heat', my temperature runs a little high anyway - certainly I've been feeling more than a little feverish.
Took refuge in an air-conditioned cinema to see 'Batman Begins' - a suitably dark interpretation of the Batman mythos, much better plotted than the Tim Burton efforts, although lacking their ability to produce breath-taking set pieces. Cillian Murphy was excellent as the Scarecrow.
