So, I finally have enough done on my rib piece to show some of it...Just one more session and it will be done! Yay! I'm going to take better pictures tomorrow because I don't have any close ups of it now but I felt like taking a couple tonight so... here it is. To me, this seems familiar...not the style, the style is unique, I mean it is familiar in feeling...I like the use of capital letters and lower-case, the running together of words, the rhythm, the words...the repetition of words, the metaphor, granny and the snake...my littlest angel, this part is familiar to me. There is a sound to this poem, and a form, a visual both with metaphor and the way letters are used, and the use of punctuation and underscore. 'myskinliverribsears brain', it is a line I love.
