I've recovered from the emotional turmoil that was my leaving do; we laughed, we cried, we said our goodbyes.

I've got this week off and what was the first thing I did monday morning? Yes, I went to the shop. How did they open without me? I'm out; I can't go behind the tills, I had to be escorted up to the offices, everyone was busy but nobody asked me what to do.

I'm the ex that nobody mentions but is met for surreptitious afternoon drinks.
