What a busy boy I've been, but what a special ten days I've had.

I no longer work in a bookshop. After 7 years I'm out, Waterstone's has seen the last of me.

I met up with my old area manager who now works at head office and he asked me If I'd ever thought of leaving to go to head office, I said 'uh uh', so he made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
I now work for HMV as their non-audio merchandise buyer. I select books for a living! I get to travel this sceptred isle visiting record shops! I get paid decent money at last! I'm a corporate whore!

This is my last week with the 'stones, I'm going to show the new manager where I've hidden everything and then next friday I'm up to London to hand in my badge and bookmark.

I owe it all to my new corporate friendly hair.
