Work is so shit. Please don't buy people books for Christmas unless you know what they actually enjoy reading. I can't tell you.

I worked as a bookseller for 2 years. Aren't some people's choices embarrassing? Sometimes the books are so obviously bad. It's lovely when someone chooses something intelligent, though. I loved that job. Too bad I spent all my paychecks on books! frown
