Boss: You have no ass
Me: I do too, its just not as glorious as it once wasplus Im wearing big pants
Boss: *insert weird look* So eat more fried chicken
Me: Ah beppo
Boss: What???
Me: giggle fit and walk away
Gave my day a bit of and upbeat which I needed. I got sick this morning and didnt go to the first job but seem to be fine now. I kinda think my sugar got too low while I slept last night causing severe stomach cramps which made me
Turns out Im more than likely hypoglycemic.
Long story short, we do regular health assessments at work one of the things we do is monitor our blood sugar every couple months. Every time we do mine is getting lower. Were supposed to fast for 12 hours beforehand which I cannot do without passing out, so they know I eat before hand. Yesterday I had a chocolate peanut butter sammy and a bottle of grape soda before the test (ya I know, not my normal healthy eating but when Im feeling faint or foggy I have to eat lots of sugar to snap out of it it seems). Took the blood test just a bit later and my blood sugar was 56 which is apparently too low. So then they made me take this test. After answering a million questions I scored a 75%, which sounds good to me but is apparently bad. Normal people score at 20% or lower so apparently I am extremely high risk for it.
So freaking out, I call my doctor and have a talky talk with him. He says its very likely I do have it. Explains my constant fatigue, heart palpitations, trouble breathing, zoning out when I dont eat constantly, extreme stomach and back cramping if I procrastinate eating and why I need sugar after I have a Menieres attack.
Im sorry, I really did mean for this to be short but it kinda feels good getting this off my chest. I didnt want to talk about it till now. So anyways, I have to make an appointment with the doctor to have testing for this and thyroid issues. Id rather not have either issue. Ive really become ashamed of all my health problems. Im only 27 and I have more health issues than old people.

On one side of things, at least you'd have answers to why you feel that way...but on the other hand? I'd be upset too
I have now been diagnosed with Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism, so i can tell you I know what it feels like to feel unwell most of the time. I hate it. I hate all the symptoms. You have nothing to be ashamed of at all, but I do understand what you mean, I get the feeling that people don't believe me, don't understand, can't understand and think I am just being a slacker.
It doesn't seem like it, but things can get sorted out, and you will feel so much different and so much better.
My immune disorder has only been discovered, and I have been so very sick for 12 years now.
Wishing you all the best.
