That's how much the check was I've been waiting for. All year I had $40 taking out of each paycheck and put away into a savings account from job 2. Every week I thought to myself "Man I could really use that $40" but every week I just kept lettin them taking. And today it pays off. See they close out the savings accounts at this time of year because its sposed to be money for Christmas shopping. Oh but not for me....
$1501.40 will go towards paying off my retched Best Buy credit card. No longer will I have to pay their 19.8% interest rate or their $15-$20 debt cancellation fee. Haha you fuckers! I will then take the remaining $605.06 and throw in $170.92 that I have in my checking and pay off my retched Master card. No longer will I have to pay their 15.99% interest rate.
Today, after the check has cleared about noon time, my hard work for the last two years will slap me in the face. Today, after the check has clear about noon time, I will only have one credit card left to pay off. I was about $23K in debt and today after that fucking check clears, I will only have $5,236 left to go. And I pretty much did it by my fucking self. And you know what? I am so proud. I worked long and I worked hard. Now I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Soon, so soon, I will work one job and live comfortably.
My heart is full of joy.
I am going to celebrate, not sure how yet since I'll be strapped for cash till I get paid next week LOL! But I think that next week I'll buy an entire set of crocheting hooks like I've been dreaming about. I deserve it!
