Here's an unasked question.
"Adam, what's something that turns you on?"
Given, I don't think anyone here really cares what I find sexy or not. Or maybe you do. What I can tell you is that I don't have any particular fetishes. I'm not into feet, I don't like food in the bedroom, I've never been one for S&M. Really, I'm pretty straight forward. I'm not interested in anything all that kinky. I'm classic, I suppose.
And yet we all have things that we think of as sexy. And one of those things for me is...
Tan lines.
Seriously, I find tan lines incredibly erotic.
It's not something I wholly understand, though I've certainly tried to make sense of it.
It says something about the girl I suppose. One thing that does turn me on is confidence, which I think very common. A girl that's shy about her body can be cute, there's no doubt about that. But a girl that's confident in herself, no matter what her body type, well that just blows my socks off. Incidentally, that's one of the things that brought me to SG in the first place. It was the only place to find the true "girl next door" with her clothes off.
So tan lines might go against the confidence thing, right? A girl with tan lines isn't tanning nude. Maybe she's not so comfortable with her body. But that's not really true.
It just means that only a select few get to see her naked. It's a privilege. Anyway, when you try to apply psychology to something like this, especially when your psychology education starts and ends with a one semester high school elective, you come up with hogwash. Which is mostly what this is. It's all theory. So what is it about tan lines that I find so goddamn sexy?
Beats me.
The end.
