Hello, SG. We need to talk.
I renewed my membership in October. I have one year left. And after that, rather than stick around and see the SG that I once loved face away, I'd rather leave and remember the good old days. Before the dark times. Before the Empire.
Sorry. Talk of new Star Wars movies has got me quoting the old ones.
Anyway, SG, I swear it's not you. It's me.
Maybe I'll change my mind.
Anyway, let's get this Farewell Tour started with a bang!

Mutual friends of Eveski have seen this on her blog already. A nice change of pace from the usual fan art I do, more in line with the direction I've been going in professionally lately. More design, less fancy illustration. Not that I don't spend a lot of time drawing, but with a subject like Eveski, the drawing never gets boring.
This will not be the last fan art I do of this lovely young girl. Every time I think I'm done, she sends me a bunch of new pictures. I dunno, d'you think she likes it when I draw her?
A little behind the scenes on this one:

I actually texted these pencil shots to Eveski, making her one of the first girls here to get real time progress updates on a piece of fan art.

You can see a little of my working process here. I always keep the original photo open in Photoshop. Not just for reference, but also so I can sample the colors if I need to. You can also see the rad Evil Dead II art I downloaded for my desktop wallpaper. That's a foreign poster for the film. Foreign Posters are often much better than the American versions. Don't believe me? Check out the Polish poster for Raiders of the Lost Ark.
By the way, guys, Eveski should have a set coming soon, and I promise you it's going to be killer. I'd like to see her go pink in the next year. Her, and Cadavre and Hexxus and suispud1.... the list is really endless.
Speaking of Evil Dead, this is how I kicked off my annual Halloween Movie Marathon:
Remember, Election Day is tomorrow, and do whatever the fuck you want. Vote, don't vote, or masturbate. All three are about the same, except, to quote the late George Carlin, at least when I jerk off, I have a little something to show for it.
My prediction? There will be lots of hyperbole tomorrow. And stupid people won't shut the hell up.
Imaginary Friend bless you, and may he (or she) bless the United Corporations of America.

That is beautiful....I'll change your mind, somehow. I think we'd all like to see Suispud1 go pink...I'd give up a lifetime of trying to be pink just for that!

This made me smile, good ole Star Wars.
