Go for it!  What strategies do you have to get past the anxiety?  Can you entrust a good friend to plan a trip with?  I find that someone else depending on me sometimes helps.  Maybe they can support or encourage you, or maybe you can muster the will (and I know that's hard) to push past for them if not for yourself.  For me anxiety about a particular thing is usually not like a fog to wade through, but a barrier: once I push past >starting<, I can enjoy the thing I wanted to do.  Part of the barrier is fear that it won't be that the anxiety will never abate, but that's just another element from my imagination that I have to train my reasonable mind to ignore.

Instead of the standard "eat healthier, excersise" etc.

My resolution this year is a little different! I've tried so hard consistently over the last year to always remain positive at all times, about everything. But, now I'm pretty sure it's done more harm than good.
