Another year gone by, another set of issues to work through. Feeling as if I am not where I should be at 31, feeling as if maybe I took too many wrong turns and should just accept that I'm irrevocably lost in a world that I don't quite understand.

Feeling like I have the strength to keep on keeping on, but to what end? To what purpose?

Probably just feeling the enclosure of these four walls and little reason to go beyond them till I hear more on the job front.

My recruiter seems fairly hopeful and certain about this opportunity with Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries. They're one of the only restaurant groups growing at the moment and have a schload of management jobs open here and there and are looking for someone able to run multiple units. I figure if you put enough of them together, the volume of sales would be what I was used to at the last "full service" job I had and I should be fine. I'm excited about the opportunity, but they're leaning heavily on a relocate to Washington, DC metro...

We'll see.

meanwhile I'm debating what to do for the day.

Cool about Borland. I was NOT a Limp Bizkit fan but he was a good guitarist & seems like he'd fit right in with Manson.
I got into Manson when their first album came out, before "Sweet Dreams" hit. I saw them at this tiny-ass club in Charlotte in 95. There was a guy standing outside dressed like Willy Wonka handing out candy. It was an incredible experience. I've never had a problem with crazy people moshing at a Manson show, and I've seen them four or five times. But I guess it depends on the city. The craziest crowd I've seen here was at a Korn show. And Ozzy, way back in the day.
