Wow, where to start.
In our busiest part of the season, we have an employee no-call no-show for three days (self termination). So, I work harder to make up for the lost labor, part of being in the family business.
Amber had her OB-GYN visit friday and we got some news we where not prepared for. She has (please don't get on to me if I get something wrong) Polycystic Ovarian Disorder. I haven't gotten all the info on what this is yet, but one thing is it makes having children more difficult. She would have to take fertility pills which increases the chance of multiples (twins or more). I have to admit - my ego took a hit. I always thought my boys could impregnate any woman, and they still can (according to the Doc) but they have to reach the egg and then dive in. I don't know, I'm rambling about something I'm not fully versed on.
I just hope and pray I'm able to give Amber all the support she deserves. I just want to do the right thing by her, she is the reason I enjoy waking up every morning.
