Free Reverand Horton Heat show motherfuckers I was face down fast asleep when my friend James called me and said "Hey Paul there is a free Reverand Horton Heat show at Dixies on Grand." I said " I sit Grand Ole Days." Yep. Grand Ole days is when St. Paul block off 20 blocks of Grand Ave for an afternoon. This year Dixies opted insted of getting a couple craping band het one kickass band, Enter the Rev. I hopped in the shower and boogied into St.Paul, We grabbed some beers and started walking. I heard a crappy cover of Good Charolet song and an even worse cover of Quite Riots "Bang Your Head" in the same block. I made it to the show just as The Rev was hitting the stage. The rev put on a show as always and I final got to hear Phsycabilly Freak Out live After the set I was hungey an hopping to get a Pork Chop On a Stick but they torn down already. So I made my to my buddys work http://www.128cafe.net/ I hung out in the kitchen as James and Bjorney whipped up a tuna steak served on chumin potatoes, sweet maralade onions on top and mico greens, hella good food yo. with hanging out in the kitchen Handsome Pete and Bill showed up for some dinner. Pete told me his neighbors where having a kegger and we shuold crash it. Pete lives on Grand so we started at the kegger and started making our way up and down the sreet crashing all the parties we could. We drank so much of other peoples beer, every body just wanted us to hang out so they keep feeding us beer, about 11 parties where petering out so we rangeled up James and went over to Caseys, its offical one of the haunts now, little ole stripclub with the stifest drinks, you order a jack and coke you get jack, 3.75 for rail drink 5 bucks for the back bar. Oh yeah and I skated my ass of with Assmoney on saturday. Good fucking weekend
