Anything you see in the movies, you can pull off in the game EASY. My favorite is either the cartwheel firing squad thing, or the snap kick, catch flipping firearm, use on previous owner. And each combo is usually only two or three buttons pushed in semi-rapid order. Plus you can hack into the Matrix (you actually have to hack it, it's all DOS commands) and do things like the operators do in the movies...drop of gear and exits and all that cool shit.
Yes, Im mixed about the movie. I believe that the Matrix is just two movies at this point. Matrix, and Reloaded is Act I of part 2, and Revolutions is Act II of part 2.
CGI is the devil. Anything CGI can do, flesh and blood can do twice as well, and look fifty times better in the long run.
I didnt really get upset at the "rave" scene like everyone else. I didnt even think it was a rave scene. Many movies have a celebration of some sorts before a apocalyptical (whatevah) battle. I was just upset it went on for so...damn...long.
And the musical score really sucked untill after the 100 Smiths vs Neo. And btw, I thought that fight sucked ass. I was bored and ready for it to be over t wenty seconds into the fight. Neo pulled off two nice moves, and about four hundred dull and boring ones. I about went wild when I heard a remix of Chuck D's song play during a later fight, enter: decent music!
Ok, Ill stop, I will literally go on for a good hour when it comes time to dissect and critique a movie.

i like Photoshop because it's what i'm used to. i haven't really checked out anything other than the usual crap that's included on a new computer. basically Photoshop lets me do everything i want/need to do. scanning, cropping, color adjustment, resizing, adding text, filters, etc. it really is the total package, and it's not all that hard to use with a little time. everything else i've used just seems to fall short in comparison, like i'll want it to have a certain feature but it won't or it will but it won't work in the same way.
i think i'm running 6.0 right now, because i landed a copy for free. i know there's no way i'd be able to shell out the money for a "real" copy. shit's expensive.
interestingly enough, it's not exactly ideal for what i need to do tonight, creating an image from scratch. for that, i'd really prefer Illustrator, but i don't have a copy of that...
anyway, my two cents is that Photoshop can't be beat, but keep in mind i haven't seen a lot of the competitors, so it's possible that if you don't need something so high-end, one of them might do the trick for you.
as an example: the picture up on my profile right now is a very old photo of my uncle. his shirt originally had a Nikon logo in an oval, looked a lot like the C! logo. so, with a little photoshop manipulation i took a b&w graphic of the C! logo, resized it, made it the same color as the Nikon logo, distorted it a little to account for wrinkling, and superimposed it over top of the Nikon logo. flatten the image down to one layer, crop and resize to 175x235, save as a jpeg, and voila, my Uncle's wearing a C! shirt long before the band ever formed.
