Yesterday, I started getting all teary-eyed on the microscope at work when I was thinking about why I was alive. Sometimes I think life is just a ridiculous waste of energy necessary to keep the world in balance. You know, why not keep people alive who do good deeds? Well, anyways, I found something to keep me in the game: sparring.
I finally got to spar with another girl last night!
It was hella cool, I was being a whiney bitch before we started b/c I was nervous and b/c she is going to be boxing at the fights on Saturday so I didn't want to mess her up (I wasn't sure if I could or not, but better safe than sorry). She's got a good jab, I think, and she's a mover. My b/f and trainer were proud of me afterwards. Everyone was watching, funny how heads turn when girls are fighting. 
People were telling me that I have a good hook and the girl told me that I've got a hell of a right and to never hit her with it again 
. Hee hee! 
SO, I can't wait to do it again. I was nervous and I held back a lot but so did she (I think) cuz she knew it was my first time sparring w/ anyone other than my boyfriend. I sparred w/ him afterwards and MAN, he fuckin hit me w/ a bad ass hook that knocked my head gear out of place!

All right, SG Homies, it's on. Next Saturday, June 12 at 2 pm there will be some amateur boxing (three 3-minute rounds w/ headgear) at my boxing gym. I won't be fighting, but I'll be there! I'm not sure how many fights there will be, but it should be going for hours. $15 at the door.
