Three days until my best friend from NY comes out to visit! We were befries from 2nd grade til the end of high school! 
I am excited, it should be fun. Then, on Friday, my other best friend from L.A. is coming. Then, my mother is coming out to visit on Monday - for an entire week!! Woo hoo, all for my silly ass birthday! 
If anyone has any suggestions for where to bring the peeps, pls feel free to send 'em my way. Besides Berkeley, there's SF (shopping, Haight, GG park, the marina?, 1984, 1015, those damn touristy things), maybe Sonoma, maybe Monterey, maybe Calistoga?, where's Big Sur?, I'm not a very good host!

There's always Tahoe if you have a car (though that's a bit of a drive) but there's probably enough for you guys to do in SF - GG park, museums, restaurants, touristy crap. You get the idea.
