i try to socialize with my past friends since i've been working everyday and none of them can make time for me.

sorry to hear that...here's some basic info I found. I seem to remember that it helps to have a police report showing this person was harrassing you. So next time the person shows up and won't leave, or does something else to harrass you, you'd report it. Anyway, this web page has some info pertaining to NY for starters:
