This picture was completely unintentional. It was nothing more than forgetting to wind the roll to the next shot. It reminds me that the waters of the great stream of life eddy and swirl as various distances of past melt together as if they were always the same instant.





There was once a very drunk guy on a canoe trip that thought he could stand up and pee without tipping over. The fellow occupants flailed and cursed as they struggled to save the contents of the cooler and right the canoe.

A jar of peanut butter steered a new course for the loaf of bread that contained the zip locked joints. A CHEEZ-IT box had breached its hull and the tiled contents became edible launching pads for the dragon flies. A crow cawed.

The man chuckled as he backstroked through the watercress towards a sandbar. He shielded the sunlight from his eyes surveying the waters for his comrades.

One of them pointed at him while shouting
