I vividly recall finding different colored toads when I was a child. Red, yellow, green, and brown. They were not mottled but a dry earthy shade, like clay. They seem impossible upon reflection. I wish I could see one again. Collect them all.
I have a single peyote cactus in a little clay pot. It has plumped up but shows no signs of growing further. I have seen peyote cactus flower years ago and I keep looking over in the hopes of seeing it blossom. Any sign of activity. When eaten, a single plump button is not enough to produce any worthwhile experience. Maybe it refuses to grow for fear of ending up spinning in my head. I don't think I could eat it though. It would be like killing your pet to suck on its pineal gland.
