I went to the Yankee game Saturday afternoon and after a perfectly pleasant, winning 6 innings, everything turned to shit. I got pissed off and left as soon as we lost the lead.

The front page of the NY TImes Sunday sports section pretty much said, "Yankees make a dramatic comeback win. And you're a moron!"

I'm too impatient for faith.

On the wise coincidental counsel of two different people in different states this past week, today I tried:

bagel
+
cream cheese
+
Hot Sauce.

There was some bliss there.

Oooh, a bomb scare two blocks from my apartment. Neat!

The beach did me SO right today. Don't feel like I need to do anything else for the rest of the day.

Funny thing is, tho, that you can tell pretty clearly on what side of my body the sun was most of the day.

Dear SG customer service:
I'm generally pretty happy.
I hate getting only 5 favorites.
We should get a nullFavorites If We Had More Than Five list.

So yeah,..camping.
The East Coast Camping Trip was an adventure for me. First time sleeping in a tent. First time river rafting, which was that much better with a cooler in the boat and the doll-icious Irina at the helm.
Fishing at a pond with our improvised, caveman fishing rods, followed by trying to out-rowdy the trailertastic kids in the pool were highlights as well....

I was so happy to see The Bravery live again last night at Webster Mall. Didn't disappoint at all. And I'm psyched for their success, and that they got to play a bigger venue this time.

I'm off to the East Coast Camping Trip tomorrow.
And I hope it will forever taint my future assumptions about what camping is supposed to be like.

I've got some firsts happening that I'm stoked about.
Today I see Donnie Darko for the first time in its entirety. Definitely something I feel I'm "supposed" to see, which is what I fill up my Netflix list with.

The second first is the EC Camping Trip. My goodness, me, camping! Never done it before. I'm such an urban priss, I'll totally be a fish...
