My feet hurt. This has been going on for awhile. it's not just the usual "tired old bones" ache that I've had for awhile. A combantion of callouses, cracking and dryness is about to do me in. Barefoot is the worst. Help!

On the good side, I got my sand wedge back today. I realized it was missing yesterday. Today, when I went to the...

I gotta get my focus back. I mean it finally came clear that I was just not getting my priorities straight. And it was clear that the circus that is Suzann attracks the interest of my inner handy man. I'd rather tinker with someone elses issues that really confront any of my own.

Well, I thought that I had put some distance between us after...

I'll never be your beast of burden ...

Yeah, right. After 40 years on earth and 27 chasing the elusive female of our species, I've come to realize that is exactly what I am. Strange thing, codependency. I mean, shouldn't helping people with their problems be a good thing?

Unfortunately, I go deeper. While aesthetics are clearly the initial attraction, it is clear that it...

You must be getting something out of it if you keep doing it.

Codependency and addictions go both ways. She has it, you probably have it to.

Heya...I saw your Big Muff question in the BP group. To make mine sound good I eventually cranked all knobs all the way up on it and then lowered them accordingly. Usually with pedals it's wiser to do it the other way around you know?biggrin I also have to use a pick with it and I usually am not a pick player. Dropping mids and boosting bass and a lil more treble than usual helped too. Hope that helps some! smile

OK, get ready to write your congressman on this one.

Last fall I bought a new sponge mop at Target. Today I went to buy a new spongehead for it. When I can't find one and ask, they say "oh, we don't cary that kind anymore." I ended up buying a whole new mop (and half a dozen replacement sponges.)

This really irks me. Should...

Had kind of a shit weekend. Got food poisoning from Kroger deli meat on Thursday. Went out Friday. Talked to Scott and the other Rogues for a bit, but later went down in flames big time at the Bell. Ended the evening by rescuing Sean at the Green Hut. His psycho ex had stolen his keys, cell phone and wallet and then drove away in...

OK, I've been shopping for a new pair of sneakers (showing my age with this term) and a set of bedroom drapes for about six months. It is frustrating to no end that I can't find I thing I like. Am I that hard to please?

Any cobblers or seamstresses in the house?

See a penny / pick it up / all day long you'll have good luck.

You know, when you shred your life and begin the process of regining equilibrium, you've got to have a mantra. Some ritual that keeps you moving and hopeful that you're gonna do it.

So along I go, scanning the ground for copper coins, hopeful that they are clues to the...
