What better way to ride out a time change than to snuggle up next to my baby.

It's been awhile since I've updated. I am really an idiot for not keeping up on a journal, as I have pretty much changed everything in the lives of me and my baby girls in the last 30 days. It feels good so far, but I've been fooled before. I am on the precipice of the greatest triumph or the biggest catastrophic failure of my...

Luck is the residue of meticulous planning. You will triumph. I have spoken.
Accually the furniture is much of what I am ridding my world of! :is excited:
So I will grab ahold of a passing polar bear instead.

What a difference a week makes. Last weekend I was at Wheatland, dancing and drinking it in. Listening to a fine variety of traditonal music with a few thousand of my hippie friends and an equal number of families or enthusiasts. And everyone gets along.

But now I've started moving. It shoud take a week. And toss on top of it, another deep divide with...

You know, I thought I'd had a tough few days - stressful family visit over the weekend, bickering with my ex, kids climbing up the walls, business snarls, waffling on a relationship that "maybe oughta" end.

But then I see Katrina. I can't believe what we are seeing. It may never be the same in that area. And this afternoon I got an e-mail from...

Wow. What a couple of days. My ex is going ape on me. Now I brought some of it on myself. But she is a pushy bitch and I finally decided to push back. She doesn't pay a dime to support our kids. She rains holy hell on my household, cussing my friends and family over the phone, confusing and confounding our kids by putting...

I'm sorry to hear your ex sounds so nuts. I feel bad for your kids, too. Moving around a lot is really tough.

Today was a good day. I woke up clear headed and ready to go. Carved my way through a big chunk of my "task list." Made a great connection to add some new products to my line. Basically, a happy camper. This is how I should feel at the end of every day.

Tomorrow should be fun. Sierra turns 10. I have a party set...

Today is a day of lawyers.

First, I am taking my Mom to Lansing to talk to a family lawyer about estate planning, living wills, etc. It will be good to get all of this done. She will certainly feel better. She could actually handle it all herself, but she likes to have me next to her as a confidence booster.

After that I have...

Well, it looks like I'm moving. We made an offer on a house and now are going through the financing, inspections, etc. Tedious.

The tooughest part will be moving the girls to a new school. This will be their fourth in four years. I'd like to leave them in one place for awhile.

In all, this should be a very good thing once we get...

This week I am visiting my brother and his family in Cincinnati (N. Kentucky, actually). My girls are along and my mother is here this week, too.

It is good to see everyone, but I have to admit my mood is a bit funky. Maybe it will pick up a bit in the next few days.

My sister-in-law works at a Gap Clearance Center. Picked...
