Good couple of weeks. Got some new business. Feeling better. Girls are doing well in school. Met a great new girl who is actually an old friend. My Mom and Uncle came to visit this week. It's 12 degrees outside right now and we were spared the local power outages. Not a bad little run.
Weird winters these days. More likely to rain than snow. Reminds me a bit of the winters when I lived in England. No complaints, though. Don't have to shovel rain, ya know.

This has got to be a better week. Last week included a furnace going out (not serious, thankfully), a frozen pipe, a welcome mat sucked up into my snowblower, gas spilled inside my car, $700 in car repairs and a friend starting a fire in the fireplace without opening the vent - smoke residue everywhere.
God, I can't wait for spring.
