Well I found out what Tom wanted to get me for my bday. He told me to drop my car off at Cartoys for a couple hours. Eventually (I had to cancel yesterday) he admitted he'd spent about a grand on speakers for me.
I told him I'd be much happier with a nice $60 set of darts or something. Actually, that and a tattoo would be nice.
But no... he really thinks I need/want the speakers. How can I be nice and emphasize the fact that I really am not that into rocking out in my car? I have (at minimum) a 3 year old in the back seat with me most of the time so it's not like I can crank up the volume anyway.
