OMG my buddy minibeanie just got herself a brand new HARLEY!!!!
I'm so jealous and I have to say that it is one of the sexiest things I've heard in a long time. At first I wasn't sure her feet could reach the ground but I'm sure she's figured all that out already.
I can already see her in some cuffed, battered Levi's, a wife...

I wanna be your friend
and I didnt mean to hurt your feelings when I removed your pics.....I would never delete them completely .....you should know that

Smile today!!
My friend Kim stopped by today to get her son. She's my man's exwife and although we've become friends over the past six years it's still tough in some ways.
I don't even like to acknowledge how petty this is... but I can't help myself. She's thinner than me for the first time ever and it's driving me batty. I hate being the ugly one!...

I kept my seven (nearly eight) year old son home today. We're going to go see the SpongeBob movie with little miss Ava later this afternoon. I was planning on going for a few drinks and I still may at some point, but for now I'm not really in the mood.
I haven't spoken with minibeanie for ages and can't wait to catch up so...

Yikes. So the fishy job is not a go anymore. I was excited but working from 7:30 - 5:30 everyday and then occasionally working until 7:00 pm and on Saturdays w/o any overtime pay is not so cool.
Now there are a few other options that are appealing for very different reasons. I won't interview until the 29th for one, and the other is still...

I woke up with a sore throat and it's so frustrating. Waylon has this death flu thing and has had no voice but he got it at his dads and just came over here on Tuesday. I know I'm getting it though.
So this means my weekend will probably be shit and I'll have been basically homebound for WAY too long. I get weird when...

Well I met with the President/CEO/Owner of the fishy company this morning. We talked for about 90 minutes (much longer than the recruiter was expecting) and I had a great feeling about it. Later today they have several other interviews so I didn't really know what to expect until I talked to the recruiter again and he mentioned that I was the leading candidate already....

I'm personally apologizing in everyone journals who I slighted with my ignorant usage of slang that I hear everyday in this new city and had no idea was considered rascist. The reaction was pretty much what I'd expect though and all the shitty email I'm getting is pretty ironic considering the theme of my original post. Instead of trying to correct me, I'm as asshole, a racist and so on... Attack first and ask questions later is the name of the game here I guess. Sorry for being such a "jerk."

I'm part Salish (not surprising given that I'm from Western Montana) and know what you mean. The "pow wow" thing has never bugged me, but there are things that do. And I guess those things should bug everyone, just not those with a particular blood quantum. Western Montanans talk about the Salish-Kootenai reservation likes its something out of Mad Max or something with out acknowledging the true problems on the reservation. Yes, alcoholism is rampant there and the roads are dangerous -- but nobody wants to try to help, they'd rather just disparage. And honestly, they wouldn't even care if they didn't all have "cabins," which are actually million dollar second houses on the land. Those are the things that bug me about my heritage (even if it's only 1/8th).

Today is the next round of interviews and I'm sooooooooooo tired. Plus I got nervous and picked off my nail polish so I'll have to redo that before I go too!
UPDATE: I aced that interview and meet with the owner/CEO tomorrow morning at 7:30 am. I'm such a stud...

Way to go! We made some gluten gree lasagne the other day with some rice noodles we found, and it actually came out just like normal!
I've only been off gluten for about two years now. And I was never actually officially diagnosed. I had all the signs, and I stopped eating it, and they went away, and by the time I had my blood test there wasn't anything left in my system to find. I never wanted to eat it for a few weeks and go back. And they did tell me that's the best way to tell, if it makes you sick, and it does. But my mother has been diagnosed for maybe ten years? Maybe more. So I was already used to the whole thing.
