In case you don't normally follow my blog, I am really big into the fitness routines from blogilates.com This month is blogilates new body workout, which includes running a mile nearly every day. I have never been a runner, but I thought, hey maybe it's time to try something different. I walk four miles everyday, and generally if I do ever run, I sprint two small sections within my four mile walk/run. So, the first day I ran, I noticed afterwords I was experiencing being seriously out of breathe, and wheezing and I just assumed it was because I don't run, and my body isn't accustomed to it. The wheezing went away for most of the night until I went to bed, and than it returned. The next morning I was completely normal, so I ran the mile again, same thing happened, except for when I to bed, I was wheezing worse than the night before. I figured that maybe since my mother has asthma maybe I induced some kind of underlying respiratory problem that I was unaware of. Went to the doctor, whose said he's seen way too much of me lately LOL He says that runninng induced some bronchoconstriction, and prescribed me an inhaler to use before running. Apparently, there's quite a few runners that are asthmatics. I found that odd, you would assume if you're experiencing any form of bronchoconstriction it's your bodies way of telling that running isn't for you! But hey, I guess not! I'm enjoying it, so I'm going to continue trying to run the mile everyday! Hopefully my body will get used to it, and I won't have to keep using the inhaler.
I used today's relax day to catch up the exercises I missed during the week, those being the saddle bag shaver, the cardio leg ballet, and the victors work out!
I need to get to bed, but you know...
Can't forget the Sundies!
