I met a strang little elf man today. I saw him first smoking a ciggarette in the park and assumed he was deranged and or indigent. Then he was there working with me and my first impressions of derangement though overblown were on the right track. Though he was not actually deranged he was pushing eccentric to new levels.
I watched him dance down a corridor wheeling a giant reel like a 19th century schoolboy with a barrel ring and a stick singing a jaunty song. He was funny and english and he reminded me that all dreams are possible.
I missed Michael Douglas but got to rub elbows with the director of Iceman. That film still haunts me in a strange way. I had to look up his biography and for me that was the most signifigant film in it.
