so inspired by (ok, i copied the idea) AlwaysBeingBlues previous journal, and my new bluetooth downloady thingy, heres some pics from last night...
i went to see Tsunami Bomb at the Mean Fiddler, and they were great!
during "Take The Reins", i dived into the moshpit. it was short-lived, as i charged in one side, i was thrown around violently for 10 seconds before being deposited out the other side, with a sprained thumb and scratches...
after the gig, we met up with my tattooist JJ and his lovely girlfriend at Garlic And Shots, and proceeded to get every-so slightly plastered...
...and i still managed to catch my last train home (which was overrun with emo-core teenies from the gig)!
whaddya think of my Doplex influenced "nearly-beard"? shall i keep it?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
EXTRA STUFF:
The support band last night were an absolute embarrassment. Hopesfall are the biggest bunch of generic, obvious, boring EMO-CUNT-WHINEY-WASTE-OF-SPACE-WANKERS i have ever had to endure (for the 5 minutes i bothered to check them out). luckily the gig was soooo empty (no more than 150 people i reckon, in a 800 capacity venue), that we went to the bar, which was totally empty as the bulk of the audience weren't old enough to drink.
I also saw "The Jacket" yesterday, which i was very impressed with. Nowhere near as confusing as people are making out, it also had the added bonus of Keira Knightly as a punky, down-at-heel alchoholic waitress...which she played very convincingly!
oooh, i do like Keira....grrrr
*this random journal bought to you via buvkets of San Miguel and a very early sunday start cos i had to go into work*

I like the facial hair, but would prolly shave the cheeks and throat a bit to get the cool line along the jaw....
