my "illness" finally has subsided - so we shall see how I fare the rest of this week...
weekend has been pretty fun, and kinda mellow for a change...
friday, after being sent home from work early, i caught up with this lady, had a nice meal, and not much alchohol - RESULT!
saturday, caught up with my best buds Carmel, Chris and Tony, who i haven't been out with in a while (and i miss Carmel to pieces, as always, but hey, whats new?
).
went into Paddington (randomly), went to a couple of crappy pubs, and had the most awesome fishnchips. ended up back in the west end, having beers in the Intrepid Fox and The Ship, which was remarkably empty. fun was had by all. i even managed to be the sober one at the end of the eve by substituting a pint of lemonade every other drink.
and no fucking JAGER!!!
anyway, i miss those guys....was ace to see them again.
sunday, went to see OLDBOY with Doplex and CreamyGoodness at the Soho Curzon. a right old sick motherfucker of a movie, was most enjoyable.
then it was back to the Intrepid Fox for a nightcap (or early evening cap i suppose).
then i get back home, and my weekend is finished on a high note with nadine and caz's new set finally being posted! YAY!
oh well - back to work and a 6am start tomorrow...
