time for a brief update i feel...
- all going great down the gym. really enjoying it. actually starting to feel the benefit now, and actually might have started losing a bit of a my gut - it definately feels smaller! am quite into it now, and i fel really bad if i miss a session.
- latest tattoo is turning into a bit of a mission. 9 hours later, and its still not finished. luckily the last session is just gonna be for touch ups, but i'll be leaving it a month or so, cos my poor leg feels like a peice of raw meat. last nights session was AGONY. Lins is doing a great job though, and i'm dead pleased i got her to do this one.
- band finally started rehearsing again, and the songs are just falling out of us. hopefully we'll be gigging early next year. things are coming along, and we're a bit shocked by how we're sounding. we certainly don't sound like what we set out to sound like, and its pretty exciting. although i can't help but think Phils main purpose in this band is to piss people off. we shall see...
- lots of gigs coming up before the end of the year...Carter USM, Peacocks, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Gaslight Anthem, Household Name Xmas Party with Former Cell Mates and Milloy, Staying South Xmas Party with Crazy Arm and loads loads more. oh, and i'm seeing The Mighty Boosh in a couple of weeks too.
- had a great birthday weekend last week. was big fun and wasn't too messy, which makes a change. Notting Hill is definately a good place for a pub crawl...
one final thing. i just wanted to let my fellow Norms know that as of last week i left the Norms Workshop group. i didn't feel comfortable being in the group anymore and just felt like an onlooker. so it was time to move on.
