so, heres some random bits and pieces from last week...
last night, me, tony, chris and yeoman went to see Bullets To Broadway at the Camden Underworld.
i'd been looking forward to this since i discovered Teen Idols a few years back, and the fuckers split up. i'd been keeping my eyes peeled, so when three of the original Teen Idols reformed as Bullets To Broadway, i've been pretty excited and have been dying to see them.
they were pretty good - when they were playing they were totally spot on PUNK ROCK with great songs, huge choruses, and still had the harmony boy-girl dual vocal thing going on.
the only problem was that they only had 10 songs, and they were headlining. so they decided to fill up the whole alloted time by talking ABSOLUTE BOLLOCKS in between songs - sometimes talking for far longer than the actual songs were. it was a shame, cos they were great when they kicked arse - it just happened after every gap of superfluous rabbitting...
also decided i hate my new camera, but heres some pics anyway...
the rest of the week has been spent going completely beserk over and getting thoroughly addicted to Questionable Content (thanks very much for the tip-off Koleeta
)
i've never read any "web-comics" before, but from the first page, i've been totally hooked.
the characters are well written, its as funny as hell, and i found it scarily easy to relate to a lot of the stories.
plus as it progresses, the artwork just gets better and better.
i find it a total pleasure reading something thats produced in 4 panel blocks and is brightly coloured. i think it was written specifically for my short attention span!
plus theres cute cartoon alterna-indie-punk girlies in it, plus a groovy robot called Pintsize!
in case anyones interested, the tattoo is healing well, and is itching like a bastard, but OH MY GOD it was manky last week! never seen anything so disgusting, although its now looking rather awesome!
laters y'all...

I haven't seen the photos yet and am dreading them ever so slightly. Oh well, time to bite the bullet!
