So in 1971 a not so well known band by the name of Pink Floyd, during the recording of their new record entitled "Dark Side of the Moon", decided to set up a live gig in the ruins of a coliseum in Pompeii, Italy. They went full boar, a shitload of gear and four sound-men riding the faders from the board.

They invited no one. They decided that they were going to setup and play for the gods. Only a French television film crew got to witness this extravagant production, first hand. Not only did this crew get to film the performance, but Floyd was kind enough to let them follow them back to Abbey Road Studios and witness them creating "Dark Side of the Moon" in the studio.

This march the French Documentary:
"Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii" will be released on DVD to the masses. This is one of the most inspiring things I have ever seen as a musician. I urge you to check this out.
