I have come to the conclusion that this public speaking class is going to be the death of me, or this teacher just hates me or something. I am working on a persuasive outline on not drinking and driving and I am drawing a blank on a thesis and 3 main points. The first outline I turned in on the topic the teacher said was an informative. Who needs an outline, why can't I just get the topic and give a speech this is crap. So any advice or tips would be greatly accepted.

I've had a teacher tell me that when you don't know what to write about the subject then you should think about changing it. I tried doing a paper on capital punishment but it didn't work out very well. Instead I went with a paper on the postive aspects of children watching tv (within set limits of course). I think I got a B on it. I can't remember, it was almost 8yrs ago.
