the freaky dreams are back
Last night was the corker.
It was actually really pleasant, just weird.
I was walking around the town I mostly grew up in
( I went to something like 8 schools all over the place) with my best friend Reg (where are you anyway?)
But everywhere we went was overgrown by 5 foot high grass and despite recognising everywhere as specific places from my past, everything was totally different.
The weirdness is that these places were replaced by imagery from past recurring dreams I've had spanning back since I was a wee one.
I dream about this town a lot and it's usually very fantastic and wholly pleasant which is really odd given that this was the most horrible time of my life.
BAD family type shit went down here.
I used to wonder why I'd have such positive dreams from such a horrible era.
I figured my sub-conscious must have been subbing in good memories for bad but then it dawned on me this morning that this would have been about the time when I went from child Buddha nature (as in living right in the moment 24/7 without giving it a second thought) to being self-conscious and more involved with past and future than present.
And speaking of self-conscious.....UGH!
I should stick to writing about booze and spiders...........
