In my opinion, Montreal is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. That being said...l don't travel much...ummm....at all really so l may not be much of a reference
I still love visiting Montreal on a regular basis though. If you ever have the chance l would definitely suggest a visit. The traffic sucks but that's what metros are for!

you should sound-proof you window btw. then the lawn mower will probably sound like a low muffling sound.. kinda like the dozy sound you get when on a plane (or somethin suchlike..) which should actually make you fall into a nice deep sleep!
and watch this before you go on a squirrel killin spree!
Foamy the squirrel in... 5 more minutes (it's actually quite good...really)
