Hi, honeys, I'm home!! 
I actually got home around 6 this evening, but I thought I'd take a little nap...and didn't wake up until well after midnight
And I'm also vaguely depressed. Karen didn't come back up to KC with us
Her husband brought home a new puppy and they didn't have anyone to take care of her for the next 3 days--meanwhile he's working 12-16 hours a day, in a steel mill, where they're dealing with molten metal on top of the regular old July air temp of 100+ right now. God, I need a cold drink just thinking about it. He's not going to be in the mood to deal with a puppy when he *is* at home, so I just rode back with Greg and Karen went back home.
Maybe I'll rent a car and go spend a week with her before school starts up again. My car overheated when I was coming home from Greg's and that's less than 15 miles. I know it can't take 500+
On a happy note, I came home with some absolutely adorable PJs. They're black pants covered with bright pink lip prints and "blondie" scattered all over them, and a tiny white-with-pink-trim t-shirt with a pencil sketch of Debbie Harry's face on the front. Karen thought I'd like 'em She was right

I think l may have to change my standards. Perhaps just lie on the sofas and refuse to open my eyes. Find one that's really comfortable and buy it sight unseen! Would make furniture buying more interesting!
