Well, today is officially my last day of being in my "early 30s"...if I'm even still there at all. Tomorrow I will ease gently into my 34th year...or be dragged there kicking and screaming, as I may be having a small crisis.

And now I have to go get my driver's license renewed. Because *that* picture's always fun, isn't it?

Oh well, this year's picture can't get any worse than the last two. The picture on my current license has me looking at the wrong camera--I swear the girl told me to look the wrong direction on purpose--and the one before that caught me in the middle of a sneeze, and they wouldn't retake it. Fucking bastards at the DMV (Update: Well, my hair's not sticking up weird, I'm not sneezing, and I'm looking at the correct camera...that's the best thing I can say about my new DL picture, sigh)

Boy, I sound cranky, don't I? I'm actually in a really good mood

by the way, cheers to eizzardrules for the 3-word story thread in the Friends posting area. I get the giggles every time I read it


Update: STUPID SUNBURN!! It's suddenly full of scary, ugly little blisters. Why is there no sobbing smiley when I need one?
