Is nicotine withdrawal worse than trying to break, say, a caffeine addiction? I feel like shit today--headachey and sort of disoriented--and I don't know if it's because of the no-smoking ban I've put on myself, or the fact that I slept for less than 3 hours last night.
I have to go run a pile of errands. At least I got the A/C re-rigged in my car. There's some kind of problem with the way it was re-wired before I got the poor little hunk of crap--either the heater works or the A/C works, but both cannot be in working order at the same time. So a mechanic friend of mine rigged it by jumping a connection that disconnected the heater and made the A/C work. He had to reverse it for me last fall. Now that it's summer again, he fixed it yesterday. Hurray for A/C
Update: I'm home now. My poor car. (Her name is Moosabella--and because people always wonder, here's the explanation: the name the car cries out for is Moose, but I wanted her to be an Isabella. My very drunk cousin combined them into Moosabella, then told me I'd better watch out, because if *her* name was Moosabella, she'd throw herself off a bridge. It's just my car's misfortune that Moosabella fits her.) As I was saying--she's a red '94 Mazda Protege. And now she dies every time the air's on and she's not moving. Stoplight? Dead car. Drive up window at the bank? Dead car...unless I power brake the whole time, which I hate. I'll be good at it by the time summer's gone again anyway. Sigh.
One of these days I'll get my cliff-diving car paid off and then I'll be able to retire Moosabella gracefully. She deserves it.

I've only seen the tail of a tornado, once when I was driving through Nebraska...and I hope that I never see a real one!!!
