AARRGGHH!!
Mario Batali is going to be at Lidia's Restaurant Wednesday doing a book signing/cooking demonstration.
I ADORE Mario Batali. The red hair, the ponytail, the voice, the ugly red shoes. (Yes, I am aware that he is not what most people would call hot. I am not most people.) And he's such a phenomenal chef. Curses on my lack of job-finding ability because there's no way I can swing dinner at Lidia's and/or a book for him to sign, given the current state of my finances. Why did I have to see that commercial? If I hadn't seen it, I would never have known
PS I really really *really* hate thunderstorms that knock over big trees and throw your brand new patio furniture over the fence and into the neighbor's yard
