I was going to start out with a joke, but I can never remember jokes. So I called my 8 year old niece to ask for a little help and she offered up one joke she made up all by herself and one moldy oldie.
Now for your groaning pleasure, I present to you: Stacie's Joke
Why did the chocolate chip cookie have to go to the hospital?
Because he got all crumbled up.
(I don't get it either)
And now, the moldy oldie:
Why was Six scared of Seven?
Because SEVEN EIGHT NINE!
(groan, groan)
I needed jokes because the world has chosen to be a little bit rough on me today. My car's acting distinctly wrong, and the 3 people* that I called for consultation all say the same thing, independent of each other:
"Sorry, kid, sounds like the transmission's going out."
(groan, groan)
I DO NOT NEED THIS RIGHT NOW!!
*One of them owns a garage. The second is a part-time mechanic. The third, I figure she knows what she's talking about because she has a Chevy S-10 which is working on its third transmission since they bought the stupid thing. Also her lovely Stealth has been sitting in her garage for well over a year, undriveable, because it needs a transmission and the closest one available to her in a salvage yard is in Oklahoma City--you know, hundreds of miles away

I'm feeling a little better the mother-in-law gave me a pill of some sort that helped.
Okay this is my favorite joke ever!
Knock Knock
Who's there?
Interupting Cow
Interupting Cow...
Mooo
I know it's bad, but I love it anyways
It's like last Saturday when I lost my brakes. All I wanted to do was go to Walmart and buy a duvet cover for my new (and first) duvet and Poof! no brakes...thus no cover....thus trying to gt home in something resembling one piece.
I hope it all turns out well. I'd send you my car if I thought it would be any safer.
