i used to drink orange crush & ruby red squirt
i used to buy bubble gum & packs of baseball cards
i used to get mosquito bites on my arms
i used to wake up early & go to bed at 9
i used to find a tree, grab a branch & climb
i used to shoot action figures with bb guns
i used to play with a power saw & cut my thumb
i used to run around barefoot on the street
i used to get chards of glass stuck in my feet
i used to hear the sound of rice krispies in a bowl of milk
i used to hold up my pants when i couldn't find a belt
i used to get mad when noone would play with me

i used to hit pool balls as hard as i could just to hear the sound
i used to go to parades & be afraid of clowns

i used to draw pictures of people & animals

i used to sleep on the floor when i couldn't sleep in my bed

i used to dig holes on the beach deep until i drew water

i used to go to the zoo & look at camels
