Back from Prom! Which, by the way, was amazing. I love getting to hang out with all of my out of state friends (whether I've had the pleasure of meeting them before, or am meeting them for the first time) as well as meeting some wonderful people who I haven't really talked with on the site before (who I've been trying to contact, slowly but surely, to let you know it was great to meet you!).

So without further ado, a few zombified pictures! Unfortunately, I forgot my camera in the hotel, so I'm greatly relying on the kindness of strangers and not-so-strangers for any pictures of me from prom.

Hopefully I'll be able to track down some more decent ones later, I know MrCrisp took a handful, though I'm not sure how they turned out.

I wish I'd had a chance to see more of everyone, and I definitely missed out on some heart-felt goodbyes this year. After prom food at Sparkey's was awesome, but it lead to a very, very lazy Sunday. Well, it was either that or the *ahem* slight hangover I had after lord knows how much Hot 100. *shudder*


Monday met with us in the Redwoods of Northern California, however! A beautiful area called Armstrong Woods, perfect for hiking and all-around naturing.

So first off, I feel a need to describe the town that the trail head fell into - Guerneville. Guerneville is in Sonoma County, and is apparently the self-proclaimed "gay capital of the world," which was funny to me considering the small-town one-street feel really reminded me of Northern Minnesota, to be honest.

Also, does anyone know why it is that when attaching a picture. . . . it'll occasionally show up with no data input, as in [ i m g ][ /i m g ] vs an actual image? I have a few other redwood photos that were pretty badass, but no matter how many times I've tried (I even edited and saved-as-new a few times between tries, reformatted, changed the image size, everything) they won't upload! /grumble.
