Last year the fire hall sent a truck to the block party for the kids. This year a unmarked police punched the lights and car raced down the block. Pursuit, a guy with a pony tail on a bicycle. Short exchange from the cruiser window. Police sped away.

All the nieghbours were relieved, the children playing in the street weren't run down.
