Interesting! I'm not sure if Berlin still has ghost subway stations, but while we had two Germanys and two Berlins, some subway lines originated and ended in the West but traversed Eastern territory, so those Eastern stations were dead, save for the occasionally visible border guards. Spooky!

There are abandoned stations on the Glasgow Underground, too, I believe.
