I LOVE sad songs! They help me through some really tough times. Mazzy Star's "Among My Swan" is probably the best break up album ever! Sara McLachlan "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy" is another great album.

Sade's "King of Sorrow" was my theme song a few years ago. And let's not forget any and every Portishead song.

I can go on and on.

Sorry that you are going through a rough spell in your relationship. But Jewelz is right, any partnership has it's ups and downs. I do not know the history of your relationship and what is going on. But it sounds like he is a good person and so are you and people are not 'throw a-way" I personally feel that both parties always have to be giving 80% in the relationship. Because if you are only expecting 20% and both are giving 80% you are in good shape.

hey there.....how are you doing today?? i am not going to leave you alone for one min....so just think of me as the pest in your life.

did you get that job in the other shop you were talking about? i have wanted to get a piercing apprenticeship or counter person job. exspecially right now while i have been waiting to heal and see if they are going to do the other surgery but no one around here needs the help. for some reason there is really only one place in the city that does alot of piercings and they dont need anyone......insert sad face here X.

All I can say is that I know exactly how you feel.

I know this is not what you wanted, but being a person wanting and willing to love makes you a far better person than he deserves. The ability to love and be loved in return is the true sign of a good person. A person who deserves to have some one dedicate their life to them.

It sucks, I know all to well. Some day's I wish I succeeded 4 years ago. But those days come and they pass.

I don't think you're weak at all. There is a lot on your plate right now and you need some one in your corner for support. Every now and then, we all need to know we are not in this alone. That's not weak, that being human.

The majority of my friends get drunk and high on a regular basis. Yet the older I get, the less I want to drink (I don't do drugs. Cause drugs are bad. Mmmkay). They are still my friends, but I don't see them as often. And true friends won't pressure you to do things you don't want to do.

Many people don't want to deal with growing up so they keep that party attitude. Or they get intoxicated to deal with life. Neither is good.
The only advise I can give is do what is right for you. And don't let anyone make you feel you come in second.

And that whole think about being alone forever and no such thing as romance and love is hogwash (oh, god! how old am I?!!!). You are amazing and will have no problem finding some one who appreciates you.

i should comment that i did a long sauna with a combination of three tinctures: osha root, red root and lomatium. the first isn't necessary, it was for personal curiousity about one of our native medicinals. the other two, though, will cleanse the lymph and get it moving as well as cleansing the rest of the body. the one thing to watch for is that lomatium sometimes causes rashes or hives in very rare cases because it uses the skin as the primary excretory organ for the cleanse.
still, i took ten drops of those two and had 3 trips into the sauna until my sweat wasn't salty anymore. basically once i hit that or started to get a bit dizzy i got out and took a cold shower. it worked wonders, i felt fairly human the next day and my symptoms were in remission from then on. so it may help.
and i totally understand about the mountains. that's one of the main benefits to seattle, two mountain ranges, an ocean and the sound all within 2 hours driving. but i love winter in the mountain west so much. it's great.

Be careful with asking him to give up things. I gave up a few things because my ex demanded it and it ended up causing a huge rift which contributed to my misery and our eventual break up.

Stick to your guns on the important stuff, but don't forget there is a cost for every thing he gives up for you.

And get to feeling better. This is the wrong day to be sick!

I came by to say "hey" cause of the "shit day" reference on my blog yesterday... glad I did!

I SO hear you on the work drama... I've been married for 16 years, and it's inevitable that I end up losing out on work "friends" when I can't go hang out in the bar till I'm barfin' with them. I gave all that up a mighty long time ago, just no reason for it when you have an awesome honey right at home waiting for you Sounds like your man is a keeper!! The longer you are together, the more little sweet things he will do for you.... but sometimes you have to remind yourself to PAY attention to them because they are so subtle that you might just miss them. My honey will spend all day long on his day off fixin' my car if it needs it, or worries about me if I drive somewhere new until I send him a text saying I made it home OK And, after you spend that many years with someone, it's just like they know you better than you know yourself... and they love you anyways OK, guess I'm done now!

BTW, love your fan art. that's so cool!! I've not received any yet, but who knows...maybe some day
