I had to renew my plates today, and I started spackling my spare room. It's currently Orange. I'm not a fan.

Very glad to hear you and your mom had a good Christmas together. And you did the right thing - this is a day of peace, not beef. Sounds like they were trying to extend an olive branch, but you're completely in your rights to blow them off. And even if you didn't, no guarantees how strong / weak that olive branch would be, and you don't want to bother with that crap again.

I'm glad that Christmas was good to you. It was pretty good here too.
I'm also glad it's over and I fully remember having to deal with those after Christmas assholes. It sucked and I'm glad I don't have to do it anymore. I don't think I'd last very long because I'd be tempted to tell too many people to fuck off. (and I don't have an edit button on me so it WOULD come out and I'd be fired haha)
